Development-Life Skills
The Development-Life Skills program helps people with a disability live as independently as possible while supporting them to participate fully in their communities and achieve their personal goals. By providing tailored support and resources, this service can help build confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose for people with a disability.
Development-Life Skills is a program designed to assist NDIS participants in achieving greater independence and self-sufficiency. This service is specifically tailored to support participants in developing the skills necessary to live as independently as possible and fully participate in their communities.
Participants can use a wide range of support to help them determine their goals and develop the necessary skills to achieve them. This includes training and education, daily living activities, and assistance accessing community resources and services.
The Development-Life Skills program is designed to be flexible and can be tailored to meet each participant’s specific needs and goals. Participants might develop cooking, cleaning, budgeting, time management and communication skills or support others to build social skills and relationships.
